How to have a great remote Christmas party online?

Christmas is just around the corner, and this year it will be very different in terms of celebrations.

Sadly, most companies will have to cancel this year’s in-person Christmas parties and switch to a remote solution. To a lot of employees and employers, Christmas parties are a fun way to bond and celebrate the hard work they have done. Send invitations ahead of time

Plan remote activities

There are many exciting things you can do during an online Christmas party – just because you’re not together in person, doesn’t mean you cannot have fun!

Consider choosing a theme such as ‘cheese and wine’ or ‘tea and cakes’ to give your colleagues an idea of what to expect, and what to prepare for it. Having a food or drink ‘tasting’ evening will provide a light conversation starter. 

Gifts and party favours

Small gifts are always a good idea. Whether it’s a voucher for the person’s favourite brand, food hamper, or a fancy box of biscuits – make sure you send the gifts out in time for the party!
